Job Title: General Accountant
Job Duties: Job Duties and Responsibilities: ● Bookkeeping of expenses and/or revenues incurred for all AP Group Companies and Affiliates globally. ● Manage Payroll services for all AP Group Companies and Affiliates globally. ● Ensures the integrity of accounting information by reviewing and analyzing the recording of transactions done by the Admin. ● Prepares daily bank reconciliation ● Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses (cash and credit card and cash equivalents) entries by compiling and analyzing account information. ● Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries (in line with audit requirements) ● Provide quotation and estimates for companies ● Month-end close journal entries, adjustments, prepayments, accruals, amortization, and depreciation ● Summarizes and review financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements ● Monthly payment and filing of BGRT globally ● Draft wires for ACH / International wires ● Quarterly filing and payment of Employer’s withholding taxes and social security taxes ● Annual reconciliation and filing of withholding taxes ● Annual filing of forms 1096 and 1099, and any related company tax filings globally. │www.apgroup.mp │+1 (670) 488-2724 │info@apgroup.mp │ │Unit 2004, Capital House, 9th Avenue corner 34th St., Taguig BGC │HYC Bldg. 2nd Flr., Isa Dr., Saipan, MP 96950│ ● Assists and completes external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors ● Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements ● Secures financial information by completing database backups (cloud-based storage) ● Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential. ● Monthly review of Financial Statements ● File monthly or quarterly employee withholding taxes globally. ● Work with Certified Public Accountants for audited financial statements and owner personal income tax returns. ● Coordinate with other accountants or any other accounting staff to ensure the company's books are updated and accurate. ● Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records ● Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner ● Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation, federal and state laws. ● Follow and comply with all established policies and procedures. ● Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. ● Detail oriented with strong organizational, process improvement, and problem solving skills. ● Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of management. ● Reporting and progress updates to respective Managers or Executives ● This job posting is intended to describe the general requirements for the performance of this job. Qualification Requirements: Qualifications: ● Minimum, Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, or a relevant field. ● Proven work experience of 5 or more years as an Accountant or Bookkeeper ● Hands-on experience with Accounting Information Systems ● Outstanding verbal and written communication skills ● Excellent problem-solving and team management abilities ● Demonstrated ability to perform analysis and work well within a team. ● Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. ● Detail oriented with strong organizational, process improvement, and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of management. ● Has general knowledge in the business sector and how processes work ● Ability to work independently and with others within a fast-paced environment ● Ability to multitask responsibilities and projects ● Extremely organized with strong time-management skills ● Proficiency in general clerical tasks such as filing, documenting, answering phones, etc. ● Fluency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Minimum Required Qualifications: ● English Speaking ● Familiarity with Accounting Information Systems ● Experience following Standard Operating Procedures precisely ● Experience writing and/or following Standard Operating Procedures ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite experience ● Must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent ● Must have 1-2 years work experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper or similar position Required Skills: ● Ability to analyze and understand technical aspects of a project. ● Passionate to learn and explore technology solutions. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comments: This job opportunity is for a Full-Time position with employment period beginning on 06/15/2023 to 06/14/2025. Workdays and working hours are to be discussed in a scheduled interview. The employer also offers the THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE as required by 20 CFR 665.423 (f) wherein a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the employee completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to the subsequent employment with another employer or where the employment has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.
