Job Title: | Sales Representative - Wholesale |
Job Duties: | Sells a variety of souvenir and gift items to retailers and other wholesalers. Provide retail merchants with product samples and catalogs. Plan, assemble, and stock product displays in client's retail stores, or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising. Helps retail merchants select company products to meet their customer's needs. Negotiate with the retailers about the wholesale prices and terms of sale. Arrange and direct delivery of the product to the designated client stores. Negotiate with the retail merchant to improve product exposure in the client's store such as the positioning of products and its promotion techniques. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. Examine defective items returned by client retail merchants to determine if replacement of the product is needed. Answers questions regarding company products and items. Monitor the availability of products in stock in the company warehouses. Visit and check the client retail merchant's stores from time to time to provide the kind of items they need and recommend products for their stores. Forward client orders to the production staff for preparation and schedule delivery to designated stores who placed the orders. Monitor inventories of company products still available in client retail stores. Prepare sales contracts and order forms. |

Qualification Requirements: | Applicant must have 48 months of experience in the same position at a souvenir and gift item wholesale company as well as a bachelors degree in Business Administration. Must be able to drive and have a valid drivers license. Must have knowledge and understanding of gift item sales principles. Must have the ability and resourcefulness to meet monthly sales quotas. Work requires knowledge of items being sold. Must how to speak English especially when dealing with multiple retailers and clients. Part of the job is understanding client needs so customer service, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills as well as negotiation skills is required. Chinese or Korean speaking language skill is preferred to accommodate diverse clients. Must have time management skills and be able to work independently. Must be able to lift heavy loads. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays when necessary. Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with two (2) hours lunch break. Comments: | This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position for one (1) Sales Representative - Wholesale for ACA Corporation. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, between 8:00AM and 5:00PM with two hours lunch break for a total of 35 hours per week.
