| Job Duties: | Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keepmachines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of a building in repair. Duties may involvepipe fitting; HVAC maintenance; insulating; welding; machining; repairing electrical ormechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment. Install or repairheating, central air conditioning, or refrigeration systems, and other electronics homeappliances such as washers, dryers. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, usingpressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Test electrical circuits or components forcontinuity, using electrical test equipment. Repair or replace defective equipment, componentsor wiring. Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems toimprove efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants. |

MUST HAVE CERTIFICATE OF TRAINING IN A VOCATIONAL SCHOOL. KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRONIC ITEMS AND HOME EQUIPMENT. KNOWS HOW TO DO TROUBLESHOOT. WITH SKILLS IN USING LOGIC AND REASONING TO IDENTIFY THE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS, CONCLUSIONS OR APPROACHES TO PROBLEMS. MUST BE FAMILIAR AND KNOW HOW TO USE HAND TOOLS, POWER TOOLS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT |
