Job Title: | Operational Service Worker |
Job Duties: | Assist in the whole operation of the business. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs. Service, clean, or supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. |

Qualification Requirements: | Applicant must have 12 months of experience in the same position. Must have ability to complete scheduled tasks while responding to unexpected incidents. Must have knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely. Must have time management skills, can work diligently and independently with least supervision. Customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are a must especially when dealing with clients. Applicants must be able to multitask and work under pressure. Applicant must be willing to work flexible time, holidays and weekends when necessary. Must be able to lift loads of up to 50lbs. Work hours will be between 6AM and 8PM for at least 7 hours per day. Comments: | This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position for one (1) Operational Service Worker for Meneses Corporation.
