Job Title: | Building Service Worker |
Job Duties: | • Keep hotel and clubhouse building in clean and orderly condition. • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. • Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies. • Runs polishing machine, vacuum cleaner or pressure washer when necessary. • Gather and empty trash. • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. • Keep track of the room to be cleaned up using Opera Cloud System. • Prepare schedule of housekeeping department based on hotel building occupancy and any special events at the Clubhouse using Microsoft excel. • Monitor and prepare purchase request for supplies and equipment needed to clean up the hotel rooms and clubhouse building. • Stocking of supplies and equipment in the storage. • Conducts inventory of supplies every end of the month. • Communicate with other department any concern about cleaning service. • Notify managers concerning the need for repairs to buildings or equipment. |

Qualification Requirements: | • High school diploma or its equivalent. • Minimum one (1) year experience as heavy duty custodian or any related field preferably in a hotel and golf resort. • Knowledge of Opera Cloud Applications and Microsoft Excel. • Ability to climbs stairs and ladders, bend at the waist and knees, lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs, work from ladder and work with arms and hands overhead, knowledge in cleaning method, materials and equipment. • Ability to work long hours at manual task. • Able to work in flexible time, nights, weekends and holidays. |

Comments: | TEMPORARY FULL-TIME POSITION First Date of Need: 10/1/2023 Expiration Date: 9/30/2026 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the work at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes fifty percent of the work contract period, the employer, will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or whether the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of the transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Available workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. EMPLOYER PROVIDED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided, without charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
