Job Duties: | Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Prepare adjusting journal entries. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Advise manager in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans. Represent company before taxing authorities and provide support during litigation involving financial issues. Provide internal auditing services for the businesses. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping work activities. Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property. Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems. |

Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, and/or related course in business. Minimum of 12 months of training in tax preparation, financial statement preparation. Minimum of 24 months experience in Financial Statement preparation, corporate tax preparation, and/or other related occupations. Must be computer literate and must have experience with automated accounting systems i.e. Sage Accounting software and Intuit Quick books. Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details. Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment. Must pass pre-employment written accounting examination. Must have a current CNMI Driver's License and Police Clearance (Note: These requirements are applicable to both U.S. Workers and CW1-Workers). |

Comments: | Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least threefourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
