Job Duties: | • Collects patients care data and identifies the individual’s needs • Implements the individualized nursing/medical plan of care and coordinates activities with other health team members • Evaluates the response of the patient through nursing interventions and write and/or revise the patient care needs accordingly. Performs nursing functions including but not limited to: Assesses vital signs • Assesses body system pertinent to the patient’s complaints • Administers the following: Nebulizer (breathing) treatment Intravenous therapy Medications with the consideration of desired and adverse effects • Manages intravenous sedation of patients • Assists with the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures • Promotes patient safety and comfort • Screens visual acuity and performs hearing tests • Performs basis cardiac life support. Must be certified in order to perform this function • Ensures patient privacy Maintains accurate records that reflect the patient’s condition and the nursing intervention. Maintains patient’s confidentiality of information. Demonstrates professionalism and accountability. Recognizes and demonstrates cost-effective measures in the utilization of supplies and equipment. Cleans and sterilizes medical instruments, cleans and maintains exam rooms after each patient and at day shift end. Maintains knowledge of and complies with Saipan Health Clinic’s policies. Maintains and updates knowledge and skills relevant to the job through continuing education programs. Demonstrates punctuality and observes designated work schedule. Observes established dress code. Assists with maintenance of the nursing station to meet acceptable standards. Completes delegated responsibilities in an appropriate time frame. Attends and participates in meetings and committees as appropriate. Participates in the orientation of new personnel. Assist in the learning process for students and other nursing personnel. Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time beginning October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024. The employer will make deductions from employee’s paycheck as required by law. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: The employer guarantees to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for a cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker voluntary abandoned of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. |
