Job Title: CASHIER
Job Duties: Receive and disburse money in establishments other than financial institutions. Received payment by cash check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits, may use electronic scanners, cash register,s or related equipment. May process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks. Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. Help customers find the location or products. Issues receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers. Greet customers entering establishment. 1. Receives sales slip, cash check voucher, or change payments and issues receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers. 2. Operate cash register or electronic scanner. 3. Computes and records totals of transactions. 4. Cashes checks. 5. keep a periodic balance sheet of the amount and number of transactions. 6. Sells tickets and other items to customers. 7. Sorts, counts and wraps currency and coins. 5 Learns prices, stocks shelves, marks prices, weighs items, issues trading stamps and redeems food stamps and coupons. 9. Answer questions and provides information to customers, 10. Bags, boxes or wraps merchandise 11. Complies and maintains non-monetary reports and records. 12. Resolve customers' complaints. 13. Monitors checkout stations, issues and removes cash as needed and assigns workers to reduce customer delay.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Must be at least High School graduate, with at least 12 months of related experience as Cashier. Knowledgeable bookkeeping software, database software, ReliaSoft Prism, Microsoft Office, Handheld computer device software, Microsoft windows. Microsoft Excel. And all other job related.
