Job Title: | WAREHOUSE WORKER |
Job Duties: | Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse, or storage yards. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to supervisors. Received and counts stock items, and records data manually or using computer Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other label in equipment. Verify inventory computations by comparing items to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Keep records on the use or damage of stocks or stock handling equipment. Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 23, 2023 to October 22, 2024 THREE-FOURTHSGUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of workhours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION ANDSUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
