Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Duties: Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit. Reassemble and test equipment following repairs. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician's hand tools. Obtain and maintain required certifications. Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area. Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions. Does other duties as assigned from time to time.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent. 12 months experience as an HVAC technician. Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. Working knowledge of boiler systems. Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice. Ability to work in confined spaces. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Read and understand in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols. Read and understand schematics and work plans

Comments: The place of employment will be at Gualo Rai, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
