Job Title: Accountant 13-2011.01
Job Duties: Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position using calculator, computer and other various software. Review orders, vouchers, contract and other payables and prepares reports to support each transactions prior to settlement. Monitors accounts receivable. Prepares, updates and analyzes the company's inventory control. Prepares payroll. Extensive knowledge in computer application is required. Mandatory experience in implementation of complex spreadsheets, word processing and network related functions is essential. Creates, compiles, stores and retrieves management data using computer and various software. May establish, modify and coordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. May direct and coordinate activities of other accountants and clerical workers performing accoutning and bookkeeping tasks.
