| Job Duties: | Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding & weld finishing operations to manufacture product & to customer drawings, specifications or other forms of instruction, working at customer’s site or company site. Utilizes proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc (SMA), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) & flux core welding to codes API 650 (Welded Tanks for Oil Storage), ASME B31.3 (American Society of Mechanical Engineers Piping Process) and ASME B31.4 (American Society of Mechanical Engineers Pipeline Transportation for Hydro Carbons). Performs assigned welding techniques, interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology, wire & filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum & exotic materials. Applies working knowledge of fixturing & weld set up parameter (amps, volts, etc.), conventional & precision measuring instruments, process inspection, certification & documentation. Performs welding equipment maintenance & finishes grinding applications using manual & power tools. Exercises & uses safety habits, equipment & materials. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Two (2) years as a Welder. Off-island hires must complete a health screening prior to working on Guam. Successful applicant must be able to obtain military base access. Must pass practical/qualification “hands-on” welding test. |
