| Job Duties: | Operates soil boring equipment which is used in geotechnical investigations to support engineering design and construction efforts of architectural and civil structures. Perform geotechnical investigations consisting of boreholes in order to evaluate subsurface soil conditions and collect soil samples for laboratory testing purposes. Compile log and record testing or operational data to review and further analysis. Special wage rate: Work to be performed on projects where special rates are mandated (e.g. Davis-Bacon), will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate, but may be paid more where such special rates apply. |
