Job Title: Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic
Job Duties: Perform Inspection, Service, and repair the engines, brakes, and other parts of cars, buses and trucks by checking every component and whole range of vehicle safety systems. Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns. Change oil and oil filter, check tires, inspect fluids, and examine belts and hoses. Overhauls and repairs engines and transmissions on gas and diesel equipment. Perform tune-ups on vehicles. Overhauls, repairs and / or replaces other vehicle parts. Replace shock absorbers, checks and balances, wheels and checks for proper tires and alignment. Perform diversified electrical work on all automotive and related equipment. Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repairs or replaces digital electronic components and computers, Fabricates and or reconstructs equipment by using gas arc or TIG welding methods. Perform emission control repairs, replacements and testing on all required vehicles. Road tests vehicles to locate operational defects prior to returning to active use. Overhauls, repairs, and maintains heavy equipment which may include forklifts, generators, and the likes as well as small equipment such as bush cutters and water blasters. Performs auto air-conditioning check and repair, replacing defective air-conditioning parts like as compressor, evaporator, condenser and checking of Freon. Operates shop machines, such as milling and metal lathes, to rebuild or fabricate machine parts. Perform other duties as per instructions of the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements: Must have 12 MONTHS of prior work related experience. Must have thorough knowledge in troubleshooting, repairing or overhauling of automotive vehicles. Know how to dismantle and reassemble heavy and small equipment, using hoist and hand tools. Operate machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Can read and understand operating manuals, blueprints and technical drawing.

Comments: The job opportunity is a bonafide, full-time temporary position commencing on November 14, 2023 to November 13, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the work days of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
