Job Title: Counter and Rental Clerk
Job Duties: Receive orders, generally in person, for repairs, rentals, and services. May describe available options, compute cost, and accept payment. Excludes “Fast Food and Counter Workers” (35-3023), “Hotel, Motel, and Resort Desk Clerks” (43-4081), “Order Clerks” (43-4151), and “Reservation and Transportation Ticket Agents and Travel Clerks” (43-4181). • Offer ancillary products and travel experience services to customers • Sell core products such as but not limited to, options to waive customer’s responsibility of damage, fuel options and vehicle upsells. • Work flexible shifts in a 24/7 operations to include weekends and holidays, and work overtime as required. • Manage and update inventory of vehicles that are in use or in maintenance, assist with physical inventory of vehicles, prepares cash sheets and daily business reports. • Receive the vehicle and check tires accessories among others and proceed to process a complaint for damages. • Communicate with customers via telephone and email to respond to all customer inquiries. • Assist with returning and turnaround of vehicles as needed. • Process paperwork such as collecting signatures and scanning IDs to ensure compliance with local laws. • Explain insurance coverage, including deductible requirements and optional coverage available for an additional fee. • Provide customers with directions to their destinations using maps or other tools such as GPS devices. • Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs. • Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payments. • Receive orders for services, such as rentals, repairs, dry cleaning, and storage. • Explain rental fees, policies, and procedures. • Provide information about rental items, such as availability, operation, or description. • Advise customers on use and care of merchandise. • Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for rental. • Answer telephones to provide information and receive orders. • Inspect and adjust rental items to meet needs of customer. • Prepare rental forms, obtaining customer signature and other information, such as required licenses. • Rent items, arrange for provision of services to customers, and accept returns. • Keep records of transactions and of the number of customers entering an establishment. • Receive, examine, and tag articles to be altered, cleaned, stored, or repaired. • Reserve items for requested times and keep records of items rented. • Prepare merchandise for display or for purchase or rental. • Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of products and services. • Allocate equipment to participants in sporting events or recreational activities

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months work experience in the related field of customer service, office administration or sales work in the tourism industry. Must be computer literate with knowledge of excel, word and PowerPoint. Applicants must pass Cashiers' skilled test (Total Passing Score of 89%) during the application process. The skill testing and comprehension exam are required equally to both US and Foreign workers. Applicants must have a valid Drivers License and are required equally to both US and Foreign workers. Required minimum of 3 months Automated Rent A Car System and Manual Rent A Car Transaction experience

Comments: The place of employment will be at Susupe, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
