Job Title: GUEST HOUSE CLEANER
Job Duties: PERFORM ANY COMBINATION OF LIGHT CLEANING DUTIES TO MAINTAIN HOTEL ROOMS AND ESTABLISHMENTS, IN A CLEAN AND ORDERLY MANNER. DUTIES MAY INCLUDE MAKING BEDS, REPLENISHING LINENS, CLEANING ROOMS, RESTROOMS, AND HALLWAYS, VACUUMING AND SHAMPOOING CARPETS, AND WASHING AND DRYING OF LINENS, WITH THE USE OF CARPET CLEANING EQUIPMENT, FLOOR POLISHERS, FLOOR WASHING MACHINE, LAUNDRY WASHERS AND SPECIFIED CLEANING CHEMICALS. KEEPS ALL LOBBIES AND PUBLIC FACILITIES IN A NEAT AND CLEAN CONDITION. INSPECT THE CLEANLINESS OF ARTICLES REMOVED FROM THE WASHER, DRYER, OR DRY MACHINES AND PLACE THEM IN CLEAN LINEN CARTS. FOLD CLEANED ARTICLES INTO DESIGNATED SIZES, EITHER BY HAND OR USING A FOLDING MACHINE. REMOVE ITEMS FROM HALLWAYS AND TRANSPORT THEM TO SERVICE AREAS, INCLUDING DEBRIS, ROOM SERVICE FOOD AND BEVERAGE TRAYS, UNREAD NEWSPAPERS, SOILED LINENS, AND TRASH PLACED NEAR HOUSEKEEPER CARTS. REPLACE GUEST AMENITIES AND SUPPLIES IN ROOMS. REPLACE DIRTY LINENS AND TERRY WITH CLEAN ITEMS. MAKE BEDS AND FOLD TERRY, CLEAN BATHROOMS. REMOVE TRASH, DIRTY LINEN, AND ROOM SERVICE ITEMS. DUST, AND REMOVE MARKS FROM WALLS AND FURNISHINGS. VACUUM CARPETS AND PERFORM FLOOR CARE DUTIES, CLEANING, MAINTAINING, AND STORING CLEANING EQUIPMENT. CLEAN RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS. CLEAN GLASS. CLEAN FLOOR SURFACES USING DESIGNATED CHEMICALS, SUPPLIES, AND EQUIPMENT. DUST SURFACES IN ASSIGNED AREAS. EMPTY TRASH CONTAINERS, AND ASHTRAYS INTO PROPER CONTAINERS. INSPECT THE CONDITION OF FURNITURE FOR TEARS, RIPS, AND STAINS, AND REPORT DAMAGES. REPORT AND RETURN ANY GUEST PROPERTIES FOUND IN THE ROOMS WHILE RENDERING SERVICE. REPORT CASES OF PROPERTY DAMAGE TO THE SUPERVISOR. RUNS HOUSEKEEPING SHIFTS WHENEVER NECESSARY.

Qualification Requirements: * High school Diploma/GED. * Knowledge of cleaning hotel guest rooms. * Being able and willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays, and may be required to work overtime. * 3 months of work experience in the hotel as Cleaner required.

Fringe Benefits: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. THREE-FOURTH GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extension if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
