Job Title: AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job Duties: Perform various repairs on aircraft airframe and power plants and other required services to ensure airworthiness. Maintain all aircraft ground support equipment, tools and testers in good working condition. Do troubleshooting to determine feasibility of repair or replacement of parts to effect an airworthiness of the aircraft. Ensure strict compliance to all FAA directives, service bulletins and maintenance alerts. Evaluate, recommend and repair maintenance findings.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Associate's Degree major in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or Aeronautical Engineering. Work experience: number of months required: 24 months work experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Skilled in the use of specialized aircraft testing equipment and hold current U.S. FAA A&P License or an equivalent foreign license. Skilled in the use of various operating systems: Technical manual database software, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
