Job Title: Procurement Clerk
Job Duties: Receives request of inventory (quantity and items as needed by cook, supervisors, and OIC) Determines availability of inventory on hand by reporting Supervisor- inventory purchase request of cook, supervisors and OIC and by checking in Menu Guide. Finalize inventory to be ordered with Inventory Clerk. Files and records purchased request of cook, supervisors and OIC. Canvass and reviews availability, retail/wholesale prices and product specifications among suppliers and vendors for best deals. Consults with Manager on alternatives for unavailable items. Prepares Purchase Orders and submits to Finance Officer for approval. Submits Approved Purchase Orders to suppliers and determines delivery schedules. Provide copy of approved PO to Inventory Clerk. Verifies, double checks and follow up on delivery of items ordered from suppliers. Review Delivery Receipts/Invoices vs Purchase Orders. Files Purchase Orders (Per Supplier/Location). Forwards to Finance Officer Invoices for processing of Payment. Maintains purchasing files such as price list, suppliers list. Canvass shipping and handling cost as well as schedules of shipment. Schedules and book air freight and ocean freight. Arrange and coordinates with expeditor and inventory clerk on inventory scheduled for shipment as well as direct deliveries from suppliers. Prepares packaging slip (as per shipment and as per purchase request) for approval of Finance Officer and Operations Manager. Provides copies of packing slip to OIC for Off-Island shipments. Follow up the Shipper (Ocean Freight) and OIC for deliveries of stock received as per items delivered for shipping.

Qualification Requirements: Must be at least College Level or with Associate Degree in Business At least 6 months to 1 year experience as Procurement Clerk
