Job Duties: | Establish chart of accounts and assign entries to proper account. Check and verify source of documents such as invoice/s or receipt/s. Prepare daily sales report in excel format and enter data to company’s accounting system general ledger. Analyze account data to be posted to generate Financial Reports. Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable. Send Statement of Accounts to customers after the month end. Contact customers to notify them of delinquent accounts and accept payments made at the time of contact. Assemble and review vendors invoices for posting using proper codes. Scheduling and preparing checks for payment to vendors and disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documents. Prepare and perform daily bank deposits, monthly bank reconciliation and quarterly CNMI labor compliance. Maintain complete filing system to support financial records such as copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence. Answer orders, inquiries, questions or request from customers in person, on the phone, or by e-mail. Perform other duties as assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | An Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent and 24 months of experience as a bookkeeper. Must have knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures. Accomplish tasks with accuracy and attention to detail and has the ability to manage deadlines. Must have knowledge with applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting Sage 50 System. |
