Job Title: | Restaurant Supervisor |
Job Duties: | Assume responsibilities of the outlet manager in his/her absence. Assist in accountability of sales, expenses and bottom line profit. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating counseling, disciplining and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Ensure team follows the company/outlet standards and procedures. Demonstrate a positive role model for standards, procedures and guest satisfaction. Assist in providing on-going training and staff motivation to all associates to promote team satisfaction and minimize turnover. Maintain role model standards in grooming and professional appearance and communication. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Meet highest standards of workplace sanitation/equipment care and safety as set by Health Department and company policy. Assist with scheduling and complete weekly payroll to maximize associate productivity, labor cost control and guest satisfaction. Utilize forecasts, daily sales reports and weekly food cost and payroll reports to ensure monthly profit/loss goals are met. Provide education to staff on new. products/menus and procedures/standards Review all invoices to ensure cost and quality controls. Provide supervision of F&B waiter/waitress services staff. Complete opening duties and procedures established for the assigned restaurant. Welcome and acknowledge and understanding to perform up-selling all items offered by the restaurant assigned as well as offering alternatives. Record transaction in POS system at the time of order and supervise accurate date entry of Micros Material Control of Food & Beverage Department. |

Qualification Requirements: | Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Have at least 12 months of work related experience with supervision. Ability to operate Microsoft windows, office, POS software, & Micro System. Beverage, cash handling experience. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing October 01, 2023, to September 30, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
