Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Duties: Drive a light truck or van, primarily to deliver goods or merchandise. Load and unload truck or van with merchandise verifying the contents against invoice documents. Present bill or invoice and collect payments for goods delivered. Turn in invoice copies and money received from deliveries. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition and record these in a vehicle log sheet. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: * High School graduate with minimum one year relevant work experience as Delivery Driver required. * Must be able to drive both right-hand and left-hand drive light delivery trucks. * Must be able to lift at least 50 lb. objects daily. * Must have a valid driver's license and possess a good driving record. * Must possess or be able to obtain a driver's medical health screening that includes drug testing. * Must possess or be able to obtain food handler certification. * Can perform basic mathematical calculations in a short written test with at least 5 correct answers out of 10 questions. * The ability to communicate information and ideas in English so others can understand. These requirements will be applied equally to U.S. workers and CW-1 workers.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on November 1, 2023 and ending on October 31, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
