Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Job Duties: Perform routing accounting work in the accounts payable and account receivable functions. Maintain daily accounting records for all company funds (hotel, outlets). Act as primary contact with the company for purchase orders, including reviewing request, preparing and routing for approval, and maintaining purchase orders in accounting program. Scan bills without purchase orders, enter into tracking program, route documents to Supervisor for approval and signatures; follow up as necessary. Verify count and condition of all hotel orders delivered against approved Purchase Orders. Process requisitions requested by departments during storeroom operating hours. Assist on the annual audit by preparing assigned reports or providing documentation as directed by the Manager. Complete and maintain required departmental paperwork tracking program, route documents to Supervisor for approval and signatures, research and resolve any outstanding balances on accounts, including telephone, mail, or email communications with vendors. Make ban runs as needed for petty cash and events; make cash drawers. Assist with inventory. Process, prepare and distribute payroll checks. Perform various departmental tasks in support of co-workers as workload and staffing levels dictate

Qualification Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Have at least twelve months of work related experience. Able to demonstrate specific skills: 1. active listening-Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions are appropriate, and not interrupting in appropriate times. 2. Service Orientation- Actively looking for ways to help other 3. Speaking-Talking to others to convey information effectively 4. Be able and willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, night, weekend and holidays.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
