Job Title: General Maintenance Repair
Job Duties: Must perform repair and maintenance work on shipping containers and chassis to maintain seaworthiness. Damages on shipping containers include huge dents and holes that need to be aligned, cut and replaced by new steel plates that requires welding. Damages on chassis includes dents, faulty electrical wirings and lightings and flat tires that must be repaired to remain roadworthy. Repainting is done on the damage paints on the exterior side of the containers and chassis to prevent rusting. Maintaining warehouse activities includes keeping the warehouse clean and free of anything that can hinder easy movement inside and outside the warehouse and easy access to supplies and tools and small machines. Keeping everything properly secured and kept to prevent theft and burglary. Ensuring safety measures includes helping keep the warehouse and working areas free of debris and other hazardous material and things that can cause accidents to people and properties.

Qualification Requirements: *24 months work experience is required as General Maintenance repair. *Must have knowledge on chassis and shipping container maintenance and repairs, including knowledge of electrical and welding. *Background on shipping containers and chassis inventories is a must, which requires knowledge in identifying seaworthiness and non-seaworthiness of equipment, with knowledge on general agency and vessel operations and documentation, warehouse activities, and safety performance. *Able to work independently *Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays. *Requirement for hazmat-training certificate is a requirement for both U.S. and CW-1 workers. * Must be able perform simple math calculations necessary for preparing and providing cost and expense for repair and maintenance of equipment, such as addition, multiplication, and measurements. *Must be able communicate clearly in the English language, both orally and in writing. *Must have knowledge of maritime terminologies and abbreviations. Must be able to perform the job duties listed; must be able to read, write and speak English language at least at a high school proficiency level.

Comments: Job opportunity full-time position commencing on October 1,2023 to September 30, 2026. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for the total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need., whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its' extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay the workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers' voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involve.
