| Job Duties: | prepares, season and cook soups, meat, vegetable, dessert and other types of food consumption at various restaurant within the hotel. Report to and works for the Chef or Assistant chef. Preares seasons and cooks soups, meats, fish, vegetables starches, sesserts and other types of foods. Reads menu to estimate the amount of food required for the various restaurants. Orders food items from outside suppliers or procures food items from the storage. Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Cleans kitchen. Regular attendance is required for the position. Requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Requires ability to communicate effectively with management and kitchen personnel.Concentration, alertness, and attention to details is required. Must able to memorize large amount of information, and perform other related duties as assigned. |
