Job Duties: Prepares,seasons, and cooks soups,meats,vegetables, desserts, and otehr types of foods for consumption at various restaurant within the hotel. Reports to and works for the Chef or Assistant Chef. Prepares, seasons and cooks soups,meats,fish,vegetable starches,desserts and other types of foods. Read musy to estimate the amount of food requierd for the various restaurants. Orders food items from outside suppliers or procures food items from storage. Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Cleans kitchen. Regular attendance is required for the position. Requires the ability to read a menu and estimate the tital amount of food to prepare. Requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Requires ability to communicate effectively with management and kitchen personnel. Concentration, alertness, and attention to detail is required. Must able to memorize large amount of information, and perform other related duties as assigned.
