Job Duties: | Greet, register, assign rooms to guests of hotels, and issue room keys. Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers. Make and confirm reservations. Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment. Arrange tours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers. Clean and maintain lobby and common areas. Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests. Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems. Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages. Deposit guests' valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes. Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits. Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. Review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process. Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards. Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation. Upselling guest rooms and promoting hotel services. Provide excellent customer service at all times and ensure guests' satisfaction. |

Fringe Benefits: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing from November 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. THREE-FOURTH GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
