Job Duties: -PERFORM ROUTINE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE TO ENSURE THAT MACHINES CONTINUE TO RUN SMOOTHLY, BUILDING SYSTEMS OPERATE EFFICIENTLY, OR THE PHYSICAL CONDITION OF BUILDING DOES NOT DETERIORATE. -INSPECT, OPERATE OR TEST MACHINERY OR EQUIPMENT TO DIAGNOSE MACHINE MALFUNCTIONS. -DIAGNOSE MECHANICAL PROBLEMS AND DETERMINE HOW TO CORRECT THEM. -MAY OCCASIONALLY PERFORM ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES SUCH AS REPORTS AND PRESENTATION. -RESPONSIBLE FOR ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS OF THE HOTEL, HOTEL PROPERTY, RESTAURANT AND GROUNDS. -RESPONDS TO ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE CONCERNS. -MAINTAINS DEPARTMENTAL COMPLIANCE WITH HOTEL MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES. -SUPPORTS HOTEL DEPARTMENTAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS AND EXECUTES DAILY, WEEKLY AND MONTHLY CHECKLISTS. -ASSIST MANAGEMENT IN SPECIFYING PROPER SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR OPERATIONS. -DEALS WITH GUEST RELATED CONCERNS AND MAINTAIN THE GUEST ROOMS, PUBLIC SPACE, AND BACK OF THE HOTEL AREAS IN GOOD REPAIR BY PERFORMING VARIOUS TASKS RELATED TO A VARIETY OF TRADES INCLUDING CARPENTRY, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AIR CONDITIONING, PAINTING, WALL COVERING AND TILING TO ENSURE AN ATTRACTIVE AND WELL-MAINTAINED HOTEL. -PERFORM TASKS USING BASIC HAND/POWER TOOL OPERATION. -ASSIST IN DIAGNOSING MECHANICAL PROBLEMS AND DETERMINING HOW TO CORRECT THEM. -CHECKING BLUE PRINTS, REPAID MANUALS, OR PARTS CATALOGS, AS NECESSARY. -ASSIST IN THE REPAIR OF MACHINE, EQUIPMENT OR STRUCTURES, USING TOOLS SUCH AS HAMMERS, SAWS, DRILLS OR WRENCHES. -PERFORM TASKS DEALING WITH DRAINS USING PIPE CLEANING EQUIPMENT, PIPE OR TUBE CUTTER, POWER DRILLS, AND POWER SAWS. -CLEAN AND MAINTAIN POOL AND SPA AREA. -PERFORMS OTHER TASK AS DETERMINED AND ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR AND MANAGEMENT. -PERFORMED ANY SPECIAL PROJECT OR TASKED ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR/DIRECTOR AND MANAGEMENT
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma/GED. At least 24 months of work-related experience. -EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE-PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON EQUIPMENT AND DETERMINING WHEN AND WHAT KIND OF MAINTENANCE IS NEEDED. -REPAIRING-REPAIRING MACHINES OR SYSTEMS USING THE NEEDED TOOLS. -TROUBLESHOOTING-DETERMINING CAUSES OF OPERATION ERRORS AND DECIDING WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT. -CRITICAL THINKING-USING LOGIC AND REASONING TO IDENTIFY THE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS, CONCLUSIONS OR APPROACHES TO PROBLEMS. -EQUIPMENT SELECTION- DETERMINING THE KIND OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO DO A JOB. -REQUIRES STANDING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS, WALKING, PUSHING, LIFTING UP TO 50LBS, BENDING AND REACHING, CLIMBING, STOOPING, KNEELING OR CROUCHING. -MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS, AND MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK OVERTIME ON OCCASION WHEN THE DEPARTMENT IS SHORT OF STAFF.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing March 02, 2024 to March 01, 2025. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: required by 20 CFR655.423(j)(l); If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h).
