Job Duties: | Observe color of products being baked, and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, and convey or speeds accordingly. Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery. Measure and weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and icings, using scales and graduated containers. Producing different kinds of icing, frosting, and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences. Taking inventory of baking and decorating supplies and ordering new stock as required. Roll, knead, cut, and shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, and other products. Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets, and bake in production ovens or on grills. Adapt the quantity of ingredients to match the amount of items to be baked. Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary. Does other related duties as assigned from time to time. |

Qualification Requirements: | MUST HAVE 12-MONTHS WORK EXPERIENCE IN COMMERCIAL BAKING AND OPERATING A COMMERCIAL MIXER, COMMERCIAL DOUGH ROLLER AND COMMERCIAL GAS OVEN. COMMUNICATION, TIME AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, AND PLANNING SKILLS. ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ESPECIALLY WHEN PERFORMING QUALITY INSPECTIONS ON INGREDIENTS AND PRODUCTS. BASIC MATH AND COMPUTER SKILLS. WILLINGNESS TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY OR WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS, PLAN SCHEDULES, FULFILL ORDERS, AND CREATE AMAZING BAKED GOODS. FLEXIBILITY TO WORK AROUND CUSTOMER DEMANDS, INCLUDING EARLY MORNING, NIGHT, WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY. ABILITY TO WORK IN HOT, HECTIC ENVIRONMENT, STAND, WALK, BEND, USE HANDS AND APPLIANCES, AND LIFT HEAVY ITEMS FOR EXTENDED PERIODS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ON SHORT NOTICE. |

Comments: | The place of employment will be at Oleai, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
