Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Duties: Receive, store, and issue merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from vendors at the loading dock to stockrooms to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders. May operate hand truck upon receipt of orders and distribute orders to various departments. Input information of the orders received into the Systems Application and Products (SAP) System. Review documents, such as production schedules or work orders to determine material requirements or priorities. Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays. Examine invoices, documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications of order. Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed. Contact suppliers to verify shipment details. Verify order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary. Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processing. Inspect outgoing work for compliance with customers' specifications. Check inventory records to determine availability of requested merchandise. Notify departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies. Adjust inventory records to reflect product movement. Calculate and compile order-related statistics, and prepare reports for management. Monitor inventories of products or materials. Inspect items for damage or defects. Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment. Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Must have a high school diploma/GED. Must have at least 12 months prior work experience as an Inventory Specialist, Stock Clerk, Sales Representative. Familiarity with the Systems Application and Products (SAP) System is not a requirement but an advantage. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on December 2, 2023 up to December 1, 2026. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work.
