Job Title: Banquet Supervisor
Job Duties: Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly by managing and training the banquet staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Work closely with the catering sales manager to develop creative menus and floor plans that meet the specific needs of each client. Manage the set-up and break-down of all banquet functions in accordance with company standards. Ensure that all food and beverage items are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor banquet staff performance and take corrective action when necessary. Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain accurate records of all banquet functions. Monitor banquet supplies and equipment and place orders as necessary. Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in the development and implementation of new banquet procedures and services. Participate in pre-event and post-event meetings as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Must have a high school diploma/GED. Must have at least 12 months prior work experience as a Banquet Supervisor or Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler Certification from the CNMI Environment Health & Disease Prevention (EHDP) office that will be applied equally to US and foreign workers.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on December 2, 2023 up to December 1, 2026. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work.
