Job Title: | Maintenance Mechanic |
Job Duties: | Perform routine maintenance of golf course equipments, such as inspecting drives, motors, belts, replacing filters, checking fluid level and other preventive maintenance. Inspect, operate or test equipment to diagnose the problem or malfunction. Repair machines or equipment using tools such as drills, wrenches, electronic testing device or welding machine. Dismantle machines, equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts of the equipment. Perform monthly preventive maintenance on golf carts, such as replacing oil filter, changing oil, checking and cleaning batteries and air filters. Prepare requisition form for the parts or supplies needed to repair the equipment. Estimate costs to repair the equipment. Align and balance the equipment after installation or replacement of new parts. Communicate with the Team Members on the preventive maintenance, equipment usage, proper cleaning and safe operation of equipment. Maintain the equipment maintenance area for cleanliness and safety. Perform other related duties assigned by the management team. |

Qualification Requirements: | At least twelve (12) months of working experience as maintenance mechanic for golf carts and golf course equipment. Must have a basic knowledge on welding. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays. |

Comments: | TEMPORARY FULL-TIME POSITION First Date of Need: 02/01/2024 Expiration Date: 01/31/2025 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the work at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes fifty percent of the work contract period, the employer, will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or whether the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of the transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Available workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. EMPLOYER PROVIDED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided, without charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
