Job Title: | Commercial Cleaner |
Job Duties: | Summary of Duties: Responsible for keeping company premises, including offices and facilities in clean and orderly condition; Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Specific Tasks: •Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. •Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. •Service, clean, and supply restrooms, gather and empty trash. •Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. •Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. •Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. •Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. •Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. •Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. •Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor. |

Qualification Requirements: | •Must have 12 months of work experience as a Commercial Cleaner •Must be able to demonstrate ability in operating cleaning equipment such as industrial vacuum cleaner, and ability to perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing. |

Comments: | •The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on February 01, 2024 to January 31, 2025. •Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. •Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment.
