| Job Duties: | Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints. May assist in the assessment of range of motion and muscle strength, or propose client therapy plans. Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance. Confer with clients about their medical histories and problems with stress or pain to determine how massage will be most helpful. Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body. Maintain treatment records. Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion. Administer therapy treatments to patients using hands or physical treatment aids. |

The ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continously over time without giving up or getting tired. In order for the applicants to be considered for this occupation, the applicant must be able to distinguish between different types of essential oils and know how they affect the body. This occupation requires at least 1 year of training and 1 year of experience. |
