Job Title: Cement Mason
Job Duties: Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walks, sidewalks or curbs to a specified texture. Lay concrete blocks and mixes cement using shovel or cement mixing machine. May mix, apply and spread plaster, concrete, mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesive to form a bed for the tiles. May lay tiles. May apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings or partitions of building using hand and power tools, including floats, trowels, and screeds. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
