Job Duties: ASSIST TEACHER IN IMPLEMENTING TEACHING METHODS AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS TO MEET STUDENTS' VARYING NEEDS AND INTERESTS. ASSIST TEACHER IN INSTRUCTING STUDENTS INDIVIDUALLY AND IN GROUPS, USING VARIOUS TEACHING METHODS, SUCH AS LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, AND DEMONSTRATIONS. PREPARES MATERIALS AND CLASSROOMS FOR CLASS ACTIVITIES. PROVIDES A VARIETY OF MATERIALS AND RESOURCES FOR CHILDREN TO EXPLORE, MANIPULATE, AND USE, BOTH IN LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND IN IMAGINATIVE PLAY ASSIST TEACHER IN GIVING OBJECTIVES FOR ALL LESSONS, UNITS, AND PROJECTS AND COMMUNICATE THOSE OBJECTIVES TO STUDENTS. OPPORTUNITIES TO OBSERVE, QUESTION, AND INVESTIGATE DISPLAYS STUDENTS WORKS. ASSIST TEACHER IN OBSERVING AND EVALUATING STUDENTS' PERFORMANCE, BEHAVIOR, SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, AND PHYSICAL HEALTH USES COMPUTERS, AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS TO SUPPLEMENT PRESENTATIONS ORGANIZES AND LEADS ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, SUCH AS GAMES, ARTS AND CRAFTS, MUSIC, AND STORYTELLING. GUIDES AND COUNSELS STUDENTS WITH ADJUSTMENT OR ACADEMIC PROBLEMS, OR SPECIAL ACADEMIC INTERESTS CONFERS WITH PARENTS OR GUARDIANS, TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, AND ADMINISTRATORS TO RESOLVE STUDENTS' BEHAVIORAL AND ACADEMIC PROBLEMS. ASSIST IN PREPARING REPORTS ON STUDENTS AND ACTIVITIES SUCH AS MID-PROGRESS REPORT, REPORT CARD AND REPORT ON PROMOTIONS HELP PLANS AND SUPERVISES CLASS PROJECTS, FIELD TRIPS, VISITS BY GUEST SPEAKERS OR OTHER EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES, AND GUIDE STUDENTS IN LEARNING FROM THOSE ACTIVITIES. INVOLVE PARENT VOLUNTEERS AND OLDER STUDENTS IN CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES TO FACILITATE INVOLVEMENT IN FOCUSED, COMPLEX PLAY DISCUSS STUDENT PROGRESS WITH PARENTS OR GUARDIANS CONFERS WITH OTHER STAFF MEMBERS TO PLAN AND SCHEDULE LESSONS PROMOTING LEARNING, FOLLOWING ABEKA CURRICULUM HELP TEACHER IMPLEMENTS ABEKA CURRICULUM HELP TEACHER PREPARES AND EXECUTES LESSON PLANS FOLLOWING ABEKA CURRICULUM PLANS. ATTENDS PROFESSIONAL MEETINGS, EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES, AND TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOPS TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE PERFORMS ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES, SUCH AS ASSISTING IN SCHOOL LIBRARIES, CAFETERIA MONITORING, AND DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP OF STUDENTS. SELECTS, STORES, ORDERS, ISSUES, AND INVENTORIES CLASSROOM EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, AND SUPPLIES. SPONSORS EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS CLUBS, STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS, ACADEMIC CONTESTS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS. ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUPERVISING STUDENTS IN OUT-OF-CLASS SETTINGS. ASSUMES A ROLE IN MEETING THE SCHOOLS STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT GOALS, INCLUDING ACADEMIC GAINS OF STUDENTS ASSIGNED TO THE TEACHER SUCH AS PGFC, MATH COURT AND STEM FAIR COORDINATORS OBSERVATIONS OF THE TEACHER BY THE PRINCIPAL OR SCHOOL DIRECTOR, DURING INSTRUCTION, AT OTHER TIMES AS APPROPRIATE. WILL TEACH FROM FIRST GRADE to FIFTH GRADE SUING SCHOOLS APPROVE CURRICULUM. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PRESCRIBED BY GHIS SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO HOMEROOM, AND OUT OF SCHOOL RELATED ACTIVITIES

Qualification Requirements: GOLDEN HARVEST INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL & DAYCARE IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION AND A RECIPIENT OF FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CHILD CARE. THIS MADE THE SCHOOL UNDER CLOSE AND STRICT REGULATION OF CNMI DCCA LICENSING AND CHILD CARE DEVELOPMENT FUND. ALL TEACHERS/STAFF SHOULD HAVE 30 HOURS OF COMPULSORY ANNUAL TRAINING HOURS AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, TRAINING ON HEALTH AND SAFETY, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, CPR CERTIFICATION, HEALTH CERTIFICATION/FOOD HANDLER, POLICE CLEARANCE AND CONTINUES TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS THAT THE AGENCY REQUIRES PROVIDERS TO POSSESS.
