| Job Title: | Heavy Equipment Mechanic |
| Job Duties: | Diagnoses, adjusts, repairs and overhauls mobile mechanical, electrical, construction, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, such as bulldozers, graders, conveyors, dump trucks, backhoe, excavators and other heavy equipment. Repairs and replaces damaged or worn parts. Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Tests mechanical and electrical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with specifications. Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
