Job Duties: | Smooth and finishes surfaces of poured concrete such as floors, walls, sidewalks, and curbs to specified textures using hand or power tools which include floats, trowels. Screeds soft concrete to specified depth and workable consistency using float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping. Levels, smooth, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straightedge, float, or power screed. Finishes concrete using power tools trowels, and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to import finish. Lays concrete block and mixes cement using shovel, hand tools or mixing machines. ***Special wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate but may be paid more where special rates apply.*** |

Qualification Requirements: | Applicants must have a high school diploma and 1 year (12 months) experience as a cement mason. Successful applicant must be able to obtain military base access. Off-island hires must complete a pre-arrival and post-arrival health screening. |
