Job Duties: | Applies theories and principles to perform environmental work related to soil sampling and sample collection of hazardous materials. Prepares environmental work plans and inspection reports. Perform environmental quality work and field investigations. Prepare and arrange for government permitting (environmental clearance permits, dig permits or similar). Maintain operational records, project logbook records or computer program files. Review work plans to schedule activities. Inspects sites to monitor compliance with regulations governing substances, such as asbestos, lead or wastewater. Arrange for the disposal of lead, asbestos or other hazardous materials. Provide technical support in the planning of projects to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies. Qualification Requirements: | Three (3) years experience as an Environmental Technician. Off-island hires must complete a health screening prior to working on Guam. Successful applicant must be able to obtain military base access. |
