| Job Duties: | Obey traffic laws & follow established traffic & transportation procedures. Read maps & follow written or verbal geographical directions. Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to & from specified destination. Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods. Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo or billing statements in accordance with regulations. Inspect & maintain vehicle supplies & equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel. Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains or spark plugs, Reports delays, accidents or other traffic & transportation situations to bases or other vehicles using telephones or mobile two-way radios. Inventory & inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities & conditions. Load & unload cargo merchandise. Communicate with customers to determine pick-up & delivery needs. Present bills & receipts & collect payments for goods delivered or loaded. Wrap & secure goods using pads, packing paper, containers or straps. Does other related duties as maybe assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | MUST BE HIGH SCHOOL/GED GRADUATE WITH 12 MONTHS PREVIOUS WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE. MUST POSSESS OR BE CAPABLE OF OBTAINING A VALID CNMI DRIVERS LICENSE BOTH APPLICABLE TO US AND FOREIGN WORKERS. MUST POSSESS OR BE CAPABLE OF OBTAINING VALID MEDICAL EXAMINER'S CERTIFICATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FEDERAL MOTORS CARRIER SAFETY REGULATIONS (40CFR 391.41 THROUGH 391.49). MUST POSSESS A CLEAN DRIVING RECORDS BOTH APPLICABLE TO US AND FOREIGN WORKERS. MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN OPERATING A FORKLIFT, FLATBED TRUCKS & BOOM TRUCKS. MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT & BE ABLE TO EXERT MUSCLE FORCE TO LIFT, PULL , PUSH OR CARRY OBJECTS AT LEAST 90 LBS IN WEIGHT. WILL CONSIDER FOREIGN EQUIVALENT OF HIGH SCHOOL/GED DIPLOMA. |

| Comments: | The job position is a temporary, full–time position with one (1) year duration. Work hours will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays of every week but may vary depending on the work assignments given by the immediate supervisors or managers. The place of employment will be at Ground Floor, Transamerica Building, Middle Road, Chalan Laulau, Saipan. Applicants will be expected to live within reasonable proximity to the place of employment to perform the work as required by this vacancy announcement. The selected applicant will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If the hired applicant completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the hired applicant's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the hired applicant is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the hired applicant originally departed to work, except where the hired applicant will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a hired applicant's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Worker will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Daily transportation from the residence of workers to the worksite is not provided. Overtime work and pay is available, and overtime hours are paid at a rate of 1.5 times that of the offered hourly rate in this vacancy announcement. Overtime hours shall begin to accrue after the 40 hour of work within a calendar week beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. On-the-job training is not provided. The hired applicant will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required performing the duties assigned. Board, lodging or other facilities are not provided as part of compensation for this vacancy announcement.
