Job Duties: Must sell spare & replacement parts and equipment in repair shop or parts store.Determine replacement auto parts required, according to inspection of old parts, customer request, or customer description. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers & prices. Advise customers on substitution of parts when identical replacement are not available. Prepare sales slip or invoice. Receive or refund payment & obtain credit information. Take inventory of stock. Place new merchandise on display.
