| Job Duties: | 1) Demonstrate and explain products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase products or utilize services. 2) Provide product samples, coupons, informational brochures, and other incentives to persuade people to buy products. 3) Keep areas neat while working, and return items to correct locations following demonstrations. 4) Record and report demonstration-related information such as the number of questions asked by the audience and the number of coupons distributed. 5) Sell products being promoted, and keep records of sales. 6) Set up and arrange displays and demonstration areas to attract the attention of prospective customers. 7) Suggest specific product purchases to meet customers' needs. 8) Transport, assemble, and disassemble materials used in presentations. 9) Identify interested and qualified customers in order to provide them with additional information. 10) Practice demonstrations to ensure that they will run smoothly. 11) Perform interpretation between Japanese and English in the business establishments for our Japanese customers. 12) Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods. 13) Examine products purchased for resale or received for storage to assess the condition of each product or item. 14) Keep records of purchases, sales, and requisitions. 15) Obtain customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms. 16) Plan commercial displays to entice and appeal to customers. 17) Place prices and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floor. 18) May require to wear custom dresses for marketing promotion purpose. 19) Solicit sale of new or additional services or products. 20) Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level. |
