| Job Duties: | Provides construction management oversight. Responsible for the preparation, planning, coordination and management of multiple project assignments within broad general objectives and limits. Work requires independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, land substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Assists in the preparation of fee proposals to include: Multiple disciplies; construction fees; manhours and subcontractor fees. Myst be able to quickly identify and revise changes to fees as approved by the client, due to change orders and/or changes to scope of work. Responsible for coordinating all change orders with Client before additional work is performed on the project. Ensures the completion of work performed by others in the firm as well as outside subcontractor on assigned projects. Responsible for ensuring accurate and complete project documentation which includes meetings; telephone conversation, emails, activities field inspections and distribution of informationas required for the project. Prepares project progress for review by Client. Reviews and modifies reports, specifications, construction plan schedules and designs for project as needed or require. Ensures that work performed is within scoped and budget of the project. Determines when projects have been completed and are ready to be closed by the Project Coordinator. Represent SSFM at client meetings on matters related to scope of work and fee issues. Must be able to attend day and night meetings with clients. Assign client in the application for grant request. Assistance includes development of projected budget, scope of work, timeline projection and other back-up data required by grant application. |
