| Job Duties: | Directs activities of workers concerned with electrical work in a construction project. Studies specification, plan or proceure for construction on basis of starting an completion times, staffing requirements or each phase of work. Reads blue prints to determine locations of equipment and conformance to building and safety codes. Test continuity of circuits to ensure safety using ohmmeter. May direct workers in boring holes in studs and running wiring. May train new workers in electrical system installation proceduresl. Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Inspects work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specification and schedule are adhered to. Prepares or receives from subordinates reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. |
