| Job Duties: | Paints decorative freehand designs on objects such as pottery and handicrafts using handbrushes and computers. Sketches using permanent ink or pencils. Apply coating such as paint, ink or lacquer to decorate surfaces using pens or brushes. Examined finished products to verify conformance to specification and retouch any defective areas of such product. Clean and maintain tools and equipment using brushes or rags. Use materials such as pens, ink, water colors or charcoal or oil and computer software to create on art work. Read job orders in order to determine the work procedure and to check materials to be used for painting. Paints freehand and sketch designs using mixed colors or applies pure colors, one over another to produced desired shades, allowing time for the drying of between the application. May trace or sketch the design using computers before the actual handpainting of the object. Submit finished artwork for the approval of the clients and do changes if necessary or depends on the specification of the clients. |
