Job Title: AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC 49-3023.01
Job Duties: May perform all levels of complex repair and preventive maintenance on vehicles,golf carts and golf course heavy equipments including removal and installation of engines and transmission.Overhaul and repair all mechanical defects and complete campaign modifications of vehicles and equipment. Review repair statements,work orders, parts requisitions, inventory forms, condition reports,etc.with the Supervisors. Road test trucks,carts, other vehicles after repair are completed. Must be familiar with motoe vehicle repair manuals and company repair policies and procedure. Mend damaged body and fender by hammering out filling indents,and welding broken parts. Recommend new or revised operations to improve equipment repair,performance and quality.Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts,hoses, steering systems,spark plugs,brake and fuel systems,wheel bearings and other potentially troublesome areas.Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes,lubrications,and tune-ups. Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear,using micrometers,calipers,and gauges. Will perform other related duties as assigned and directed by the superiors.
