| Job Duties: | Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports: Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position, using calculator or computer. Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement. May establish, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. May devise and implement manual or computer-based system for general accounting. May direct and coordinate activities of other accountants and clerical workers performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Prepares and submits quarterly BGRT, Withholding Tax, FICA reports. Prepares payroll. Perform other duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Employer Preference: Saipan Submarine is a drug free work place. Pre-employment drug testing is required. Employees may be subjected to random drug testing in compliance with DOT/USCS drug testing required as per 46CFR. CPR/First Aid knowledge is an advantage. Must be a college accounting graduate with a minimum experience of four (4) years. Must be a PeachTree or QuickBooks accounting software user. Knowledge in Microsoft Office Software. Computer Literate. Knowledge in preparation of IRS and CNMI taxes. Must be able to perform job without supervision. O-Net: Title Job Zone Four: Considerable Preparation Needed Overall Experience A minimum of two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. For example, an accountant must complete four years of college and work for several years in accounting to be considered qualified.
