| Job Duties: | *Supervise the recruitment, training, conduct and work of staff. Ensure staff are taught correct sales procedures and have a good knowledge of the products they sell. *Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring that service standard are high and that complaints from customers about products or staff are quickly resoved. Advise staff of new lines of stock and any changes to the price of stock with the assistance of the buyer and draw up staff schedules. *Determine the lay-out of fittings and merchandise so that stock is presented as attractively as possible. Monitor stock levels and place orders, as appropriate, with the buyers, the company warehouse or with suppliers when stocks begin to run low. *Coordinate and conduct periodical stock takes - check and list all merchandise and asset items, such as cash registers, office computers and furniture. *Keep analyze records of sales figures and financial transaction, which include cash, check and credit card transaction. Implement and over see security procedures for stock and cash in the store or department. *Determine the price of old stock, which has been reduced to clear with Buyer. Take shared responsibility for the profitability of the store by ensuring that your outlets achieve its target number of sales and that wage costs are kept within budget allocations. *Participate in Quarterly Inventory, prepares related reports and Audit Data. |
