| Job Duties: | Repairs and overhauls automobiles, buses, trucks and other automobile vehicles & heavy machinery. Automobile tester or bus inspector nature and extent of damage or manuals, and experience, raises vehicle, using hydraulic jack or hoist to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle. Operates boilers, turbines, generators and auxiliary equipment at generating plant to produce electricity; monitors control board and regulates equipment according to procedures and information obtained from recording and indicating instruments. Adjust controls of water and cold feed systems, blowers and igniters to start up or shut down boilers. Controls operation of boiler auxiliary equipment. Operates switchgear to regulate and transfer power loads to protect maintenance worker engaged in repairing or cleaning equipment. Records malfunction of equipment, instruments or controls on log sheet. General maintenance and construction work including but not limited to, lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, keeping the job site clean and free of debris and other related duties that may be assigned from time to time. Follow all safety measures and procedures while conducting any and all of the above evolutions. |
