Job Duties: Must be able to diagnose problems and determine how to correct them, checking blue prints,repair manuals, and parts catalog as necessary. To repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Have the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not invole solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.Has the ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (icludes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). Has ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved or when its parts are moved or rearranged.Able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Has a logic and reasoning to identify the strenghtsand weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.To inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Can perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Do servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (not electronics) principles.Be able to identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumtances or events. Able to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problesms.Do other related duties and responsibilities.
