Job Title: Vice Principal for Curriculum & Instruction 11-9032.00
Job Duties: Develops & coordinates all curriculum and instruction activities.Organizes and assists in facilitating the revision of the standards based curriculum with performance indicators across curriculum.Organizes & coordinates the standard based curriculum alignment across curriculum for grades 1st through 12th.Coordinates,facilitates and updates the revision of the standards based curriculum with performance indicators across curriculum.Assists & facilitates the development,implementation and the evaluation of the accountability assessment across curriculum and across grade levels.Coordinates and facilitates the needs of the various learning communities by preparing grant proposals to support and enhance student achievement.Assist and analyzes annual student enrollment projection to develop staffing pattern for the following school year.Develops and presents for approval the yearly school calendar,class/bell schedules and teaching/grade level assignments.Coordinates and facilitates all ASVAB Tests,PSAT/NMSQT Tests,SAT 10 Tests,Advanced Placement Exams,STAR Math and STAR Reading Assessments, Accelerated Reading and Accelerated Math Assessments and presents all testing results and analysis to faculty and staff during staff development.Upon presentation of results and analysis of the data presented,action plans are then developed for learning in improving student achievement.FAcilitates and follow up on all accreditation recommemdations for implementation under the action plan to reporting to WASC for the midterm review and or full self study review.Coordinates all professional development training of all faculty and staff based on needs assessment conducted,action plan identified on the full self study of the Accreditation Report to WASC.Teaches Geometry and Algebra classes and other course work needed by the school.Prepare MCS 1st and 2nd semester reports to PSS/Federal Programs.Assists review and analyzes students'academic records/credits.Oversee academic enrichment,independent study and summer schoolprograms.Assists students in career and academic decisions.Coordinates MCS students' sports program.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Employer Preference: Bachelor degree with 2 years experience school administration and at least 2 years experience in teaching high school math.
